The Mlab cusing and Mlab cusing R are the ideal machines for manufacturing parts with delicate structures. It is perfect when additionally high surface quality is what really matter! The Mlab cusing R now also expands the previous range of materials to include titanium and titanium alloys. The machine is robust and suitable for 3-shift operation. In addition, the laser source and filter technology are integrated within the system, which results in a low space demand overall. The large filter surface area of 20 m²significantly reduces the filter change intervals, thus increasing the level of machine availability. Moreover, the M2 cusing/ M2 cusing Multilaser boasts a water-floodable filter as standard, thus guaranteeing that the filter can be changed safely. The 3D Systems ProJet 660Pro and the professional 3D printers of the ProJet X60 line use a ColorJet Printing (CJP) 3D printing technology. ColorJet Printing (CJP) involves two major components: core and binder. Core material is spread in thin layers over the build platform with a roller. After each layer of core material is spread, color binder is selectively jetted from inkjet print heads over the core layer, causing the core to solidify. The build platform lowers and the process is repeated, layer after layer. Once the 3D printing is complete, an infiltrant is used to finish the part and obtain a sandstone model.
